My DepressionYou have friends, right? Good. Imagine waking up one day, not exactly the best day of your life, you're sad and tired and you just want to cry all the time.You feel horrible. Basically, you feel like you want to die. You try brushing it off, wipe the tears away, put on a fake smile... But you just can't. During lunch, you never eat, starving yourself to become thinner. You've done this for a while now so, the hunger pains don't really bother you anymore. Today you sit there, head down, fighting back tears. No one seems to notice. No one talks to you at all to see if you're okay. They yell at you to cheer up instead, to get over it and be happy. You feel the emptiness in your chest. Friends are supposed to care... Right? You let it go and get your stuff for the next class. You wait outside the room for the teacher to come back from her lunch break. Someone comes up to you. He's your friend. "You okay?" he asks, slightly smiling while poking your arm, coaxing you to tell him.
